Great news! Last night at the European Casino Awards, Grosvenor Casinos emerged victorious, clinching the Rising Star and Corporate Community Engagement awards. We’re absolutely thrilled about this achievement, especially considering our deep commitment to our colleagues and communities.
While Grosvenor took home the community engagement award, this success is truly a collective effort involving the entire Rank team, alongside our valued suppliers and customers. Thank you for your invaluable contributions to our fundraising efforts for Carers Trust. Our overarching aim has always been to shed light on the seven million unsung heroes who are unpaid carers in the UK, and together, through Rank Cares, we’ve worked hard to generate funds to make a positive impact. Our commitment to our charity efforts will only continue to expand as we explore further avenues to support the communities we serve, offering our colleagues more opportunities not just to work with us, but to win with us. A big congratulations to Emily Stratton (pictured on left), our GM at Grosvenor Manchester Bury New Road, for her well-deserved win of the Rising Star Award. We couldn’t be prouder of Emily’s accomplishment. Since joining us in 2000, she has steadily risen through the ranks, assuming the role of general manager at the remarkable age of 34, all while balancing the demands of family life. Emily’s recognition comes as no surprise, given her stellar performance at Grosvenor’s annual conference last year, where she swept the board, clinching Regional General Manager of the Year, National General Manager of the Year, and Venue of the Year (for Manchester Soames). Bravo, Emily!
