Rank is proud to announce the 10th anniversary of our award-winning partnership with Carers Trust, a collaboration that has offered crucial support to countless unpaid carers throughout the UK.
This milestone, reached on Wednesday 14 February, marks a decade of dedicated support, during which we’ve raised over £3.5 million. In the same month, we were recognised at the European Casino Awards, walking away with the Corporate Community Engagement Award for the second consecutive year.
Over the past ten years, our fundraising has helped thousands of carers through Rank Cares grants, which provide essential aid such as household necessities like fridges and washing machines. This help has proven especially vital amid rising food costs and energy expenses. Additionally, funds raised have helped unpaid carers with much-needed respite breaks, offering them rare opportunities to relax and unwind.
John O’Reilly, CEO at Rank, said:
“The entire Rank team is thrilled to celebrate our ten-year charity partnership with Carers Trust. Since 2014, we have been supporting unpaid carers across the UK through our Rank Cares grants. We’ve cycled, run, baked, and raffled our way to raising over £3.5 million, providing help to 13,837 unpaid carers. We are immensely proud of all our efforts.
“Looking forward, we have plans to further support charity initiatives through skills-based volunteering, with colleagues giving their time when it’s needed most. Right now, we are rallying behind the 20 Rank colleagues undertaking the Three Peaks Challenge this May, with the aim of raising at least £30,000 [Donate here].
“None of what we do for Carers Trust would be possible without the unwavering dedication of our colleagues, customers, suppliers, and the team at Carers Trust. Thank you everyone for your continued support for Carers Trust.”
